• This is a UK/EU accredited LEVEL-7 coaching programme (Ireland level 9 equivalent). Level 7 is the highest our accrediting organisation offers, so this course is a right up there at the very top!
• You will need to interview before enrollment into the full Fertility Expert-Coach programme.
• The training programme is 12 months long - you can't truly train to be a competent, confident and safe accredited Fertility Expert-Coach in a shorter space of time and that's the truth. NOTE: From February 2025 this will become an 18 month programme with a substantial price increase to reflect this.  All prior students will be automatically invited to engage with any additional modules completely free of charge.
• The programme is split in two distinct areas:

1. Fertility Physiology Deep-Dive; Functional Medicine Focus and; Fertility Testing

2. Coaching Skills and Capabilities; the 6-Step Path-To-Parenthood programme and; Business Mentoring

3. (The additional modules to come in 2025 includes a deep dive into Fertility Treatments such as IVF)

• The Fertility Deep-Dive can be taken as a stand alone course for existing health coaches.  However to qualify with us as an accredited and certified Fertility Expert-Coach you will need to complete the full course regardless of your past qualifications. 
• During 2023-2024 this programme starts twice per year: The first Mondays in February and September. 
• Holiday breaks are built into your academic learning year (everyone downs tools for six weeks in the summer and we take two weeks for Christmas!).
• A 70% pass rate for all assessments and exams is required!  You will have superb support to help get you there.
• A 70% attendance for all live teachings is also required and again we will support you to achieve this.
• You can apply for extra time to complete your course (up to an extra 12-months) and specific t&c's apply.
• You will likely come from a qualified nutrition-focused, functional medicine focused, fertility practitioner background.
• Those of you who are not registered nutritionists or practitioner nutritional therapists (who will all have undergone hundreds of hours of clinical practice and are members of specific associations) you may only be able to advise on dietary changes and supplements unless your specific association and practitioner insurance says otherwise.  You will not be able to prescribe specific diets and/or supplements unless your specific association and practitioner insurance says otherwise. 
• Those of you who are not existing practitioners, you will have extensive fertility knowledge either via personal experience or via work experience or other studies.  For you, there will be portions of this programme that you will not be able to prescribe to your clients.  To combat this WHN has a robust referral scheme in place with practitioners who can support you in these minor areas.

Women's Health Network is referring to the following as 'Existing Nutrition-Focused Practitioner(s)':

• Registered Nutritionists.
• Practitioner Nutritional Therapists.
• Dietitians.
• Functional Medicine Practitioners
• Other practitioners who are qualified to prescribe specific nutrition and supplement plans and advice and have full practitioner insurance stating same.

NOTE: You do not have to be a nutrition focused practitioner to enroll on this programme.  However this means you will not be qualified to deliver some aspects of our programme to your clients.  To bypass this we have a robust practitioner referral scheme in place should you wish to use it.

YES, here are a few elements you'll need to keep in mind:

• This is a 12 month course (18 months from 2025), and we understand some of you may not have studied for years despite working as a therapist or practitioner.
• You can apply for an extension of training time, with t&c's applying to this, and we will happily talk you through your options if the time comes.
• You will be required to pass all assessments by 70% in order to qualify, and we're on hand with superb support to help get you there.
• You will also be required to attend 70% of all live teachings and again we are on hand to support you with this.
• You will be required to complete 100% of group and one-to-one coaching hours and complete 60+ direct coaching hours in order to qualify, and the dynamics of all of this will be mapped out really clearly for you prior to starting.
• You will need to find your own persons to coach to fulfill specific coaching hours, however we can help here too!  
  • Coaching persons can be accessed (for a fee) via IAPC&M.  You will need to apply for membership to IAPC&M prior to this and we can help you with that.
  • At times Women's Health Network may have individuals looking for affordable coaching and this will be advertised via email to you and filled on a first-come-first-serve basis.  This will also be advertised to the general public via all WHN social medial outlets.
  • Peer coaching is also an option.
  • Your coachees do not have to be experiencng fertility challenges. 
• You will be required to abide by all rules and terms & conditions of Women's Health Network coaching programmes, and a (fee non-refundable) expulsion from the course is liable for any participants who break the rules and terms & conditions of Women's Health Network coaching programmes. This helps us strive for a positive, supportive and respectful environment and community for all our amazing hard working Expert-Coaches to-be! 
• All Nutrition Focused Practitioners will be asked to show proof of qualifications and indemnity insurance if they wish to:
  • Highlight their suitability for future job opportunities within Women's Health Network.
  • Be put straight onto our 'Active Practitioner' list (with your permission) should referral queries come through from the public for a suitable practitioner.  
  • Be eligible for internal referral among your new colleagues and fellow Fertility Expert-Coach Practitioners. 
  • NOTE: Non-nutrition focused practitioners who have qualified with us will be suitable for future coaching job opportunities within Women's Health Network.
