About Women's Health Network Liadh Fitzgerald — Founder & Lead Educator.

Hi, I'm Liadh, founder and Lead Educator of Women's Health Network.

For over two decades I've worked in women's health and fertility - first in clinical practice, and increasingly in something I care about just as deeply: training and supporting the practitioners who'll carry this work forward. Women's Health Network grew out of that second calling. What began as a fertility-focused practice has become Europe's leading professional institute for non-medical women's health clinical coach specialists, and I now split my time between the women I support directly and the practitioners I'm helping to qualify.

Today, Women's Health Network is two things working in step. It's a professional institute, home to the Certified Women's Health Clinical Coach™ programme - an IAPC&M-accredited Level 7 (EQF eqv./level 9 EQF eqv. in Ireland) qualification training a new profession in women's health, with students and graduates across Ireland, the UK, North America, the Middle East, and Europe. And it's a clinic: the WHN Women's Health Clinic, offering non-medical care across the full female life-cycle - from puberty and menstrual health through fertility, perimenopause, and menopause, to endometriosis, PMOS (formerly PCOS), and other female health conditions.

I'm also proof that the work is personal. After a career spent helping others build their families and teaching future practitioners, I was blindsided by my own fertility challenge. It was a roller-coaster - but I held onto faith that it would be okay, and it was. I'm now mum to two gorgeous IVF daughters. That experience shapes how WHN works: with real understanding of what it is to sit on the other side of the desk.

My ambition for Women's Health Network reaches beyond the clinic and the classroom. I want to see WHN-trained clinical coaches recognised and  working within GP practices, health clinics, and health systems - embedding skilled, compassionate, non-medical support where women actually need it. We work alongside medical care, never in place of it, helping women understand their bodies, manage their symptoms, and walk into every appointment prepared.

I'm proud that this work has been recognised - Women's Health Network is currently shortlisted across several industry awards, a reflection of how far this community has come and where it's going.

Whether you've come here as a woman looking for support, or as a practitioner ready to build a career in women's health, you're in the right place. I'm so glad you're here.

With warmth and respect,

Liadh
